We’ve been coming here with my son (4) for a year. If your child is already well behaved and doesnt have any fears of dentists, this place would probably be fine, but our son does have fears, and it’s always been a NIGHTMARE coming here.
The dentist herself is really good when it comes to making him feel more comfortable, but the staff really doesn’t specialize in that here. We continually have to mention his anxieties, and it always seems to be a surprise to them (can’t you make a note or something in his chart? Extreme fear of dental work). They’ve NEVER been fully prepared (going out of the room multiple times for things that were forgotten) and this has made it even harder when your kid is already hysterical (this was especially frustrating when he had teeth extracted and they had to keep leaving for forgotten items 😒). They have TV’s above the chairs, but they only play whatever’s playing on TV, sometimes not even kids show’s.
This last visit was the last straw, we came in for a typical cleaning, and of course my son’s hystarical because he’s negatively associated this place. My husband usually goes back because the hystarics areatoo much for me, but this last time they took advantage of my husband and made him feel like he had to consent to putting our son on a pupus board and then EVEN WORST, they told him he HAD to leave our son alone with the technicians for the x-rays, starpped up to this pupus board. I was livid, and so was my husband after I let him know that they had NO LEGAL RIGHT to tell him he HAD to leave the room.
Like I said, if your kids already good with dentists, yoully be fine, but if they arenta, avoid this place like the plague.
